The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey - Carpenter

This was my first show during my summer at Forestburgh in 2023. For me, this was a very new experience since it was my first time building a set for a raked stage under a 1-2 week time constraint. My main task for this show was to create the wings in the back wall. This was a great experience for me as I was able to focus my whole attention on making sure that the wings were as accurate to the designer’s sketch and TD’s drafting as possible. I was also able to use my experience working on costumes and in the costume shop at CCU to cut and stretch the fabric that went over each wall and the two downstage portals.
